You’re Getting Too Big for This!

Just like human parents, this baboon mommy at Kruger Park knows all about carrying the load of a child. But while we humans have the luxury of car seats and cradles, baboon infants cling to the mother for the first several weeks, then ride on her back like a little jockey.

“This is why there are no Baby Bjorns for carrying teenagers.”, says photographer Roy.  “I just love this picture–it’s so human-like.”
